Group Leader: Professor Stefano Mancini 

He is a distinguished faculty member at the University of Camerino, where he is Professor of Theoretical Physics and Mathematical Methods of Physics since September 2010. He earned his Doctorate in Physics from the University of Perugia, with a thesis on quantum state tomography. Professor Mancini has made significant contributions to the fields of quantum information theory, open quantum systems dynamics, and information geometry. He has published over 270 papers in refereed international journals and he is ranked in the list of Top Italian Scientist in the world (area of physics-mathematics). Professor Mancini is also an active member of several editorial boards and has supervised numerous master's, bachelor's, and PhD students.
